The LSI Model CA Product Aligner
The product aligner consistently aligns the major axis of oval products parallel to the centerline of a conveyor.

Designed for primary labeling of consumer products containers, including pharmaceuticals, home products and cosmetics, the Model CA achieves alignment accuracies of ±1/32" Sigma 3 in most applications.

Using simple adjustments for product width and height, the Model CA aligns multiple product configurations without change parts.

The Model CA uses indexed roller chains and matched springs to apply force to both sides of the product simultaneously. As it passes through the aligner, the product rotates until forces on both side of the product are equal. When the forces are equal the product is aligned. Metric scales are provided for quick, repeatable product change over.

The Model CA is constructed using anodized aluminum plates for strength and durability. Stainless steel support shafts and ball bearings insure optimal performance.

Conveyor Installations
Model CA mounts to the T-slots in LSI's 3" wide and 4.5" wide table top chain conveyor with 4 bolts.The standard AC motor and internal drive ratios are designed for speeds from 240 IPM to 840 IPM and provide a consistent speed match to the conveyor.

Optional Infeed Systems
Typical applications include a Model SW-A Spacer Wheel or Model SB Dual Spacer belts immediately upstream for product singulation and spacing and a Model TH-20 or TH-39 Top Hold Down immediately downstream to maintain product orientation for labeling.
