Front & Back Labeling System for Round Containers
Model 1600 - Round products are controlled with a powered top hold down belt as they pass two label applicators. Front and back labels are simultaneously "flagged" onto each round product as they continue downstream to a wrap station, which finishes the label application.
Subsequent to the wrap station, a luminescence sensor is used to detect the presence of the label by way of UV coating on the label stock. In the event of a missing label a pneumatic reject station rejects the product into a bin for later reworking by an operator.
