LSI Model 40.50 Labeling Head

Designed for versatility and reliable operation, the Model 40.50 features a blow-on applicator suitable for a wide variety of applications.

The blow-on applicator is designed using a pattern of tubes which blow out high pressure air to apply the label to the product. Affixed to a grid inside the applicator, the tubes can be reconfigured to accommodate labels of different sizes, making the blow-on applicator extremely versatile without requiring any change parts. Unlike the traditional tamp-style applicators, the blow-on applicator has no moving parts - which means the labeler can achieve high application rates without the applicator ever touching the product!

Built on the foundation of the Series 40 Labeling Head, the Model 40.50 combines a five phase stepper motor with PLC controls for flexible and reliable performance. The PLC controls feature up to 50 recipe storage locations for easy set-ups and changeovers. The Model 40.50 features adjustable web speeds of up to 1800" per minute with optional clear label sensors, web width of up to 7" and unwind roll diameters of up to 16".
