Air Cylinder Tamp Label Applicators

The air cylinder tamp applicators offered from LSI are accurate, easy to set up, and one of the commonly used methods of applying a label to a product. Air is used to assist in transferring the label on to a tamp pad and through the use of a vacuum generator, the label is held on to the tamp pad before it is applied to the product.

Air Cylinder Tamp Label Applicator Product Examples:

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 060 TB:
This type of tamp label applicator is used instead of blow-on applications where the head and applicator combination cannot be installed close to the application surface - within 1". The blow grid on this label applicator is mounted to an air cylinder that extends the grid to get within 1" of the product surface. Once fully extended, the label is blown on, and the cylinder returns to the home position. For heads that do not have a PLC control package the APP-CP option is required.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 060R & 060P:
The Model 060R-Rubber and 060P-Delrin tamp/blow-on label applicators utilize a heavy duty tie rod type cylinder with a tamp pad design. These models feature a quick change mounting block assembly that makes for an easy change over process.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 061R & 061P:
These tamp/blow-on label applicators, Model 061R-Rubber & Model 0641P-Delrin, are air cylinder tamps that are available for all LSI labeling heads. These tamp applicators are typically specified on flat panel applications 6"(f) x 4"(w) or smaller.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 071:
The Model 071 tamp/blow on label applicator from LSI is designed for label sizes that exceed 6"(f) x 4"(w) and up to 12" in length or width. This model of tamp/blow on applicator contains a hi-volume vacuum feature that allows for multiple sizes of labels to be applied without a change of parts.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 072:
LSI's model 072 tamp/blow on applicators are specifically designed for label sizes that are larger than 6"(f) x 4"(w) and up to 12" in length or width. This model is used for long stroke applications and comes with a hi-volume vacuum feature that allows for multiple sizes of labels to be applied without changing parts.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 075:
The Model 075 tamp/blow-on applicator is a "Smart Tamp" because it is able to apply labels on products in which the heights or widths are presented to the applicator at random. The cylinder on the applicator extends until it makes contact with the package.

Tamp/Blow-On Label Applicators - Model 075 TB:
This Model 075TB tamp/blow-on label applicator is a "Smart Tamp" applicator from LSI. The air cylinder on the label applicator extends until the package surface is detected and then the label is blown on to the product. The applicator then returns to the home position.
