Print & Apply Labeling Heads
The print and apply labeling equipment from LSI provides a wide range of configurations for print and apply label applications. The print engines on the print and apply labeling heads are available from Sato, Zebra & Datamax.
Because of the design of these print and apply labelers, they are able to work in nearly any environment. These high volume print and apply labelers come in the Series 20, Series 20 RFID and Loose Loop models.
Series 20
The LSI Series 20 is a print and apply labeling head designed for 24/7 duty and is available with over 30 standard and custom label applicators.
Series 20 RFID
The Series 20 RFID features an applicator which prints, encodes and applies RFID labels.
Loose Loop Labeling System
LSI's Loose Loop Labeling System includes a tabletop printer to be used with a decorative labeler for high speed print and apply applications. This configuration allows for both print and apply as well as apply only label application.
Apply Only Labeling Heads
In addition to print and apply label applicators, LSI offers a range of apply only labeling heads, also known as decorative label applicators. These labeling heads from LSI include of the Series 30, Series 40 and the e300.

Series 30
The Series 30 apply only labeling head is part of LSI's entry level line of labeling solutions. The Series 30 is designed to work with any of LSI's standard applicators and speeds up to 400" of label web per minute, with web widths up to 5" and unwind roll diameters up to 16".

Series 40
The Series 40 apply only labeling head is LSI's Performance line of labeling heads. The Series 40 includes models featuring variable speeds up to 1200" of web per minute, web widths up to 7" and unwind roller diameters up to 16" and it is designed to fit almost any labeling application.

e300
The e300 decorative label applicator is the cost effective choice of apply only labeling heads from LSI. The e300 contains a variable speed motor that is capable of speeds up to 1,000" of web per minute. The bright, touch screen display offers a complete, user friendly interface. The background color of the display changes from green to orange to red to give a highly visible status update of the label applicator.

Label Applicators
There are over 30 standard label applicators and custom label applicators that LSI offers. The line of label applicators that are offered apply pressure sensitive labels to different products by different methods. Any of LSI's label applicator heads are able to deliver repeatable label placement accuracy.
LSI offers different types of label applicators. The label applicator type that you use is based on your product as well as how and where the labels are to be applied to your product.
Wipe-On/Roll-On Label Applicators
LSI offers different wipe-on and roll-on type label applicators. These applicators are ideal for applications where the product may have an irregular surface or a recessed area. An effective wipe-on / roll-on application is when the conveyor speed and the label web speed are consistent with one another. The roller or brush is then used to ensure proper label adhesion.
Air Cylinder Tamp Label Applicators
The air cylinder tamp applicators offered from LSI are accurate, easy to set up, and one of the commonly used methods of applying a label to a product. Air is used to assist in transferring the label on to a tamp pad and through the use of a vacuum generator, the label is held on to the tamp pad before it is applied to the product.

Corner Wrap Label Applicators
Corner wrap applicators from LSI are used to apply labels on to the adjacent panels of a product. As the product approaches, the label is applied to the front panel, then swings around the corner and wipes the remaining portion of the label on to the adjacent side. Models are available that allow for front to side labeling and even trailing to side panel labeling.
Blow-On Label Applicators
LSI's blow-on label applicators are designed for non-contact applications in which a burst of high pressured air is used to apply the label to the product. The blow-on applicators can apply labels at a higher rate of speed with no change of parts needed for labels up to 4 3/4 x 4 3/4" in size.
Leading / Trailing Swing Arm Label Applicators
The leading / trailing swing arm applicators from LSI are designed to apply labels to cartons or pallets that are moving or stationary and to either the leading or trailing panel as well as the side panel. The PLC controls on the swing arm applicator allow for selection of either a two panel or single panel application. This allows the applicators to be flexible and versatile in the way your products are labeled.
Vacuum Grid Wipe-On Label Applicators
The vacuum grid label applicators are similar to a traditional wipe-on / roll-on style of applicator in that a vacuum grid plate is used to hold the label prior to the application of the label onto the product. The vacuum grid label applicator also eliminates the need to match the label applicator dispense speed and the product speed as the applicator can handle applications where the product speed exceeds the dispense speed of the labeling head.

Available Infeed Systems include spacer wheels, spacer belts, encoders and infeed screws.
Product Aligner
LSI Product Aligners align products to the center of the conveyor and into the labeling station.
Wrap Station
Wrap Stations use wrap belts to spin products (typically a bottle) to complete the application of a label. LSI offers a variety of belts, drives and back up plate options.
Product Sensing
LSI offers a variety of choices for product detection and sensing. These sensors and detectors are used to signal the applicator to apply the label to a product.

The Roll-up stands offered by Labeling Systems are available for any labeling heads from LSI. The label applicators are mounted to the roll-up stands, allowing you to position the label applicator where needed for the application.
The different roll-up stands that are offered by LSI are the T-Base Stand - Model 100, T-Base Stand - Model 105-20, T-Base Stand - Model 105-30/105-40, and the Cube Base Frame.
