Series 20 Labeling Head Print & Apply from Labeling Systems

The 20 Series Labeling Head can be equipped with any Sato or Zebra OEM print engine. Print engines are available in either 203 dpi, 300 dpi, or 600 dpi depending on the printer model with print speeds of up to 12" per second. The machine handles a 12" O.D. roll and has full roll rewind capacity. The simple controller package features internal product time delay to make adjustments to the label placement on the product easy. Applicators are bolt on, making them interchangeable should the nature of the application change.

Series 20 Controls

The Series 20 comes standard with a PLC and LCD operator interface. Features include built in product counter and up to 50 recipe set-up storage locations. This controller can be replaced with the Allen Bradley 1500 Micrologix PLC control package

Series 20 Low Label Sensor
Series 20 Low Label Sensor from Labeling Systems

The low label sensor is adjusted to look across the unwind roll of labels. On most machines the low label sensor will only illuminate an alarm light to provide a warning to the operator.

Series 20 Web Break Sensor
Series 20 Web Break Sensor from Labeling Systems

The web break sensor is located just prior to the rewind roller assembly. The web is inserted into the slot to indicate presence of the web. Should the web break, the sensor will no longer see the presence and therefore indicate a fault condition. On most labeling heads this will illuminate an alarm light.

The label out and ribbon out sensors are located inside the OEM print engine. On most labeling heads this will illuminate an alarm light.
