COMPARE

Series 20 RFID from Labeling Systems

The Model 20.66 RFID, based on our reliable Series 20 Print & Apply platform, is LSI's solution for Print, Encode & Apply RFID encoding and labeling. The Model 20.66 RFID incorporates our unique Model 066 Reject Tamp Blow Applicator (shown below) and is designed to accommodate the 15% to 20% "Bad Tag" yields, typically found with RFID labels by most label converters. The latest RFID print engines from Zebra, Sato or Datamax can be incorporated into the Model 20.66 RFID to support EPC Class 1 (Alien) UHF RFID tags. Future upgrades for multi-protocol readers and Generation 2 tags will be made available as they are released by the printer manufacturers.

Series 20 RFID Controls

All Series 20 RFID Print & Apply Labeling Heads are equipped with a separately powered rewind assembly.

Series 20RFID Low Label Sensor
Series 20RFID Low Label Sensor from Labeling Systems

The low label sensor is adjusted to look across the unwind roll of labels. On most machines the low label sensor will only illuminate an alarm light to provide a warning to the operator.

Series 20 RFID Web Break Sensor
Series 20 RFID Web Break Sensor from Labeling Systems

The web break sensor is located just prior to the rewind roller assembly. The web is inserted into the slot to indicate presence of the web. Should the web break, the sensor will no longer see the presence and therefore indicate a fault condition. On most labeling heads this will illuminate an alarm light.

Series 20 RFID Label Out & Ribbon Out Sensor

The label out and ribbon out sensors are located inside the OEM print engine. On most labeling heads this will illuminate an alarm light.
